Leaking?

Iv got a terrible cough atm, and when I cough I'm wetting myself.

Iv put a pad on and the fluid is pretty much clear ( though Iv been drinking tons due to illness)

I got to toilet for a wee, get back in bed, cough then leak again... could I have a amniotic leak?

Iv smelled the pad - smells like the pad, which isn't helpful.

Hi! Sounds like stress incontinence - if you are doing it when you cough or sneeze then I would say urine as opposed to your waters. I have this exact problem - have had 2 kids so poor control anyway plus 3rd pregnancy equals me wear giant nappy like pads due to the weeing myself (sneezing, coughing, laughing etc) not glamorous and very embarrassing but a part of pregnancy x

Yes I think you're right - this is my third pregnancy so also have weak bladder control at best of times.

Oh the joys

I’ve had a nasty chest infection recently and was really struggling with stress incontience (and seemingly lots of my pregnant friends are too). It is something that people don’t really talk about but I suspect affects quite a lot of women.
