Hi,
I'm new to this,
I'm a little worried/excited/lost
I've taken a pregnancy test this morning and it's got an extremely faint line, can't even get a proper photo without it basically dissapearing! Taken another test this afternoon and I'm thinking it's just my HCG levels are too low that it's so diluted now they're not showing anything, going to take another test in the morning, but long story short how much times do you get a faint line before calling the doctor? And when you call the doctor what do you say? I'd like an appointment I think I'm pregnant? I have no idea and it's getting me a little anxious 😂

Hi OP.
When is your period due? Unless you are a bit late you are more likely to only get a positive with first morning urine, so I would say you are right to try again in the morning, or in a few days.

With regards to calling your GP, just call them when you have a positive test and ask what the policy is. Most places you are referred straight to the midwife at around 8 weeks (I know, it feels like such a wait!!) but some places ask you to see the GP first.

A faint positive usually means you're just a bit early, but it's still a positive. So congratulations. I hope you get the result you're looking for tomorrow Smile

Thanks!
I've got PCOS and since I was about 15 I've only had about 1-2 periods a year really been a struggle trying to work out dates ect for trying to conceive! But for some reason I've had a period almost every month last year and was around the end of the month 20-25th it was starting so I should have been on now/ a few days ago!
