Baby breech at 29 weeks

I've just had a private scan and they said my baby was breech. From ladies with similar experiences did your babies turn after 29 weeks or did they stay breech? I know it's still quite early yet but with my dd she was head down from 28 weeks and stayed that way until birth.

My baby was sitting breach at 28 weeks, had a growth scan earlier this week (30+3) and baby has turned the right way, although the consultant said that it still has time to do a few more somersaults in there!

My DS was like yours, stayed head down from fairly early on.

Thanks. So strange, I can feel that he's flipped as I'm now feeling kicks in my cervix which hurt. I just hope he flips back as I'm really hoping for a water birth this time around.

I was the same at 28 weeks. He turned and turned again. Finally turned head down at 37 weeks - it was the most awful sensation!

Had a very flippy second baby - head down at all checks until suddenly breech between 32 and 38 weeks. Had appt to discuss C section and booked in for ECV but when we arrived for that appointment she’d flipped back over again without me noticing. Assume I’ve got a huge and spacious womb, as she was an enormous baby!

I was shocked to hear he was breech as I had a nhs scan last week and he was head down. Most people say once they are head down they stay head down. I guess my baby is very active! Which I already know as he never stops kicking lol.

You can do all the good “turning babies” things that might help - swimming, lots of leaning forward etc, I did a lot of that and had accupuncture. Can’t say if I’m sure about what worked or not though, she might have just wanted to be head down again! She’s 3 now and there’s no telling her what to do Grin

I am almost 30 weeks and also have a breech baby but due to low fluid they are saying its unlikely she will turn. I'm drinking upto 20 pints of water a day to try and increase my fluids and praying she turns. My fluids have gone up a little today so keeping my fingers crossed. Hope your baby turns
