Can I still have a c section with a cold?

Hi
I am due to have a c section on Monday (28th), the past day or two I've had a bit of a funny throat and a little snotty, nothing major but I am worried that they won't go ahead with the c section if this develops into more of a cold?
Does anyone know if they will still go ahead with it?
Thank you

I actually don't know but might be worth checking. I imagine if you don't have a fever they would probably still go ahead but I'm guessing?

I had a planned section with a cold but we both would have died otherwise so not much of a consideration. They took our temperatures every morning on the prenatal ward so maybe they would have given medication to reduce a high temperature, who knows.

I still had a chest infection with my 2nd. They gave me cough medicine afterwards. Coughing with a spinal is "odd".

I was full of a cold when I had my first section. It was an emergency so there wasn't much choice. I do however remember it being extremely painful whenever I coughed after I had it done!
