Hi all!! I'm 23 weeks pregnant today with my 2nd when did any of you start on a birthing ball? I can't remember with my first. My left hip is giving me some jip 😂

I got mine a few weeks ago and I’m at 31 weeks now. It’s helped a lot with my posture wish I had gotten it sooner! I don’t think there’s such a thing as too early for it ?

Currently on mine right now, got it an hour ago and it's given me some serious pain relief for my SPD! I'm on my knees with my upper body on the ball, really glad I got it!

My physio said just to he careful not to bounce on it until 37 weeks as it can induce labour.

Thanks ladies, I'll suffer abit longer before I get one.

My midwife told me to get on mine from 20 weeks and it's been amazing for my lower back and hip pain.

MissMoodyMoo · 24/01/2019 21:25

34w and got mine this week! Was advised not to until past 30w

Grimbles · 24/01/2019 21:49

I'm on mine, baby has decided to wedge herself up under my ribs again so I'm hoping a bounce will move her down again Grin

Eatmycheese · 24/01/2019 21:59

With all three of mine a birthing ball was nice to sit and bob used many down on but that's was about it
All inductions / evictions

Eatmycheese · 24/01/2019 21:59

Bob up and down on

Ball is fine any time of pregnancy. Earlier the better!

MonkeyToucher · 25/01/2019 10:44

Been using mine since 28 weeks. Now 35. Baby is nowhere near engaged so I would imagine the chances of it bringing on labour are negligible...

Crossfitgirl · 25/01/2019 11:27

I'm 11+5 and have got one. Gently bobbing on it seems to help settle my stomach when I feel mega bloated, and its comfy! Didn't even realise there was any advice out there not to use one or bounce on one before a certain point??

Mama88 · 25/01/2019 13:39

No idea, there's lots of dos and don'ts, I've ordered one anyway Smile
