I don't really believe in this wives tale myself.. I'm having a girl and her heart rate has varied from 110 beats to around 178 , I think a baby's heart rate just depends on their activity tbh

Yes I believe it. DS’s heartrate was always around 130.

I didn’t find out the sex of my baby but let people take guesses on nub theory, skull theory and heartbeat. Everyone said I was having a girl even the way I was carrying people said girl and I had two midwives tell me they guessed girl on the heartbeat.

I knew I was having a boy! I just felt it, I can’t explain but from day one I knew I’d have a boy.

My tiny boy is currently sleeping on me right now!

So I’m not sure I’d rely on anything other than an actual sex scan now.

My LO heart rate was always high, I even had a midwife say to me that it must be a girl..... I had a boy!

Gobletoffire · 24/01/2019 20:09

My LO heart rate at 16 weeks was 160 and everyone also kept saying that based on my scan photos, and my bump shape, that it would be a girl. I’m having a boy!

I was at the midwife today and she commented on babys heartbeat saying it was related to the sex. She didn't say but i know a lower heart rate is boy. I have another 16 weeks till baby's here. I have no inkling at all
