Trying to conceive

Hello, I’ve been actively using the mini pill (Cerazette) for around a year, and am now alongside partner ready to begin a new chapter. I’ve stopped taking the pill a couple of days ago, and am wondering how long it would take until I’d be able to get pregnant? Thank you :)

There's really no way to guess when you would, it can be the first try, take two years or not happen at all unfortunately. Not much help I know.

Just wanted to say that I was also on the same pill as you, but before TTC I came off the pill and started taking a conception vitamin with folic acid in it and used condoms for 3 months to allow my cycle to return properly and ensure the best start for a healthy pregnancy. After the three months, we conceived the very first time we had sex so were incredibly lucky. Now my DP is burping our two week old newborn next to me, so it was very much worth it. I hope this advice helps, and please at least get yourself on folic acid, it's so important!

It's so different for everyone, there's no exact rule to it. Some people get pregnant after a couple of months, some a year, some several years.

I came off the same mini pill as you and conceived the first month of properly trying. I also used the clear blue ovulation kit so I knew exactly when I was about to ovulate too 😊

You could be fertile 2 weeks from coming off the pill. Everyone is different though so could be 2 weeks, could be 2 years.

I stopped Cerezette in Dec 2017.

Took 6 weeks after stopping the mini pill for my period to return and 8 cycles of actively TTC using OPKS and tracking my temp.

Conceived in Sept 18. Currently 20 weeks with my first.
