Im 38 weeks with my 2nd and I've had looser stools for a few days. Last night/today Im emptying literally anything I eat.

Could this be a sign or more likely a bug? Was induced with first so no idea, and I'm due for induction on Thursday so im wondering if it's nerves.

Anyone experience this before labour or is it more likely a bug?

This was how labour started for me. I thought I had an upset stomach. Good luck!Flowers

Thanks for that mental image, op. Scrolling through the active threads, minding my own business...

Yeah that’s a common way for things to start, like your body is clearing out to get ready for action.....

@ApplestheHare how long did it take to start? I am hoping it will start tonight or tomorrow so I can avoid induction

I had it for about an hour then realised the waves of pain were getting closer together. Went to get checked and I'd gone from not in labour to 9cm. Not a usual experience I wouldn't think, but seems to take different lengths of time for everyone.

How are you getting on Sweak?

Sweak · 23/01/2019 22:01

Thanks for checking in. Feeling a lot better. Really limited my food today, and ate bland things and I've not gone in 24 hours which feels so much better!

Now I'm feeling slightly nauseous and gassy, but could be nerves as induction is booked for tomorrow. Really hoping something happens tonight instead!
