Transvaginal ultrasound - bad experience

Hi all, I had a trasvaginal ultrasound for my 12 week scan (they tried the other way but couldn’t get a clear view). It was very painful and I was less than impressed with the technicians level of hygiene - dropped gel on the floor, kept the same pair of gloves on despite touching lots of things including door handle, walls etc. Now I have leucocytes and blood in my urine(home test strips) with lower abdominal pain and pain when passing urine. Went to out of hours gp at weekend and got amoxicillin but it’s not helping and heard that the test the lab did at this appt showed nothing - no sign of infection. If it’s not a bacterial infection, what else can it be? Worried that baby will be harmed in some way :-(. This is my first pregnancy.

If the test shows nothing, I would just drink lots and lots of water and try and relax. I can get really paranoid about things too and they usually just go away by themselves. Obviously if it continues or gets worse try and see your GP but I also had weird pains and had to use the toilet loads at around that time - hormones are mad, pelvis is moving up, so much is happening! Good luck.
