Three Months no period/Negative home pregnancy test/bad abdominal pain

Hello All,

I am quite worried so i hope someone can help. I have not had a period for three months now. i had an abortion 7 months ago and my periods were fine until recently. now they have stopped altogether. I was on birth control but stopped taking in roughly a month ago as i was worried about why my periods have stop (have been using condoms since then). i have taken home pregnancy tests over the past two months and have received all negative. i dont know what to do as im also getting really bad abdominal pain and am worried that the termination caused issues and i did not notice and i may now be infertile :( i know this is very unlikely but my brain has latched on to it and its now all i can think about. ive seen a nurse about two weeks ago and she told me to keep an eye on it and come back if the pain continues. but im worried that sitting around and waiting is just giving whatever is going on to stop my periods becoming worse. i wouldn't mind if i was pregnant, would actually be happy but all signs are pointing to no :(. has anyone else been in a similar situation, im really freaking out :( thankyou in advance.

It's probably not bad, but you sound very anxious. I second seeing a doc, as we can't tell you what's happening.

@StayinggUnknown I'm sure it's not something awful but it's definitely something you need to get checked out by a medical professional. It will also put your mind at rest as it must be very worrying xx
