...that the "super blood wolf moon" might work some kind of magic and send them into labour tonight?

I will gladly accept anything that might send me into labour at this stage!

Bettyhop · 20/01/2019 18:39

As a midwife about to go on the night shift at 23 weeks pregnant...noooo! X

TheSubtleKnifeAndFork · 20/01/2019 19:21

@Bettyhop - do you feel there is actually a noticeable difference when there's a full moon? I know there's no actual evidence to show the correlation, but it really facinates me. Good luck on your shift!

I'm only 39+3 but I'm so beyond ready now!

My due date tomorrow so it would be fab to get started tonight! 😬🤞🏼👍🏼

Cariadxx · 20/01/2019 20:14

I'm 38+5 so very much hoping the full moon plus eclipse will start things going! So far..... nothing!

Sexnotgender · 20/01/2019 20:19

I’m 40+1 and so fucking over being pregnant so fingers crossed!

TheSubtleKnifeAndFork · 20/01/2019 21:25

Fingers crossed for us ladies. Although I'm not holding out much hope here, honestly. Although I spent the evening expressing colostrum in the hope that might do something!!

Anything is worth a bit of hope! I'm done being overdue now.

newyork2017 · 20/01/2019 22:23

40 + 3 here & getting so restless! Pineapple, curries & yoga ball doing nothing so I'll take the moon if it's going 🙏🙏🙏

Cariadxx · 21/01/2019 06:49

Still nothing. Will hit the supermarket today for pineapple and Madras!!

Bettyhop · 21/01/2019 07:51

Well I delivered a total of...0 babies on that shift! Think we had 6 born in our hospital so a very average night. Sometimes the full moon effect is really noticable @Thesubtleknifeandfork but not tonight (thank god)

Januarybaby2019 · 21/01/2019 07:55

I had been hoping that my combination of hot curry and the moon last night would help get this baby moving but still nothing.

TheSubtleKnifeAndFork · 21/01/2019 10:17

No blood moon baby for me either, how very disappointing!! Angry

I hope we all have babies out very soon.

I did have loads of BH yesterday but they came to nothing Sad

TheSubtleKnifeAndFork · 22/01/2019 10:18

Oh no @Cariadxx - that must be frustrating.

I had a show yesterday and losing mucus plug very slowly, on off dull pains, etc. but nothing seems to be happening.

Going to walk a lot today and bounce on my ball as much as possible.

No plug here and another calm day so yes very frustrating. I'm really tired after yesterday though, I did lots of cleaning etc after the weekend, walked the dogs and had insomnia again overnight so maybe today is not a good day for him to arrive!
