Is it possible to get hyperemesis mid-pregnancy?

Over Christmas I got what I think was a stomach bug. Since then I've been sick every few days for a day or two at a time. No diarrhoea, it feels like really bad morning sickness. I've been getting anti nausea injections from the doctor. Is it possible the bug triggered pregnancy sickness? Does anyone have any experience of this?

I had sickness (2-3 times a day) starting somewhere between 25-28weeks due to the iron tablets I was prescribed by the midwife. It took me a while to figure out that they were the cause.

I'm trying to identify a trigger. Think I'll have to start keeping a food diary.
