Cramping & spotting - 37 weeks pregnant

I’m 37 weeks tomorrow.

I dtd last night (TMI sorry!) and when I went to the loo in the middle of the night there was a drop of brown blood in my underwear. (Was only a drop).

I’ve just been to the loo this afternoon and there was another drop of brown blood in my underwear. Again barely anything though. I can’t see any mucus there.

I have felt baby move today but I’m really crampy now (although I wouldn’t say it was as bad as a period cramp). Is this a sign of labour or is it just because my cervix is irritated?

I don’t want to waste anyone’s time in going to the hospital unless I actually need to.

Could be a 'show'. Keep an eye for further spotting and if you feel any way anxious ring the hospital. They are best to advise you and may invite you in for a check up.

Thanks! The cramping stopped and came back. It’s too long to be a contraction though :( fingers crossed something is happening
