I'm 23 weeks and I've just been to the loo- I could feel (my body, not hand!) something that didn't feel normal so turned the light on and there was a 20-30cm string of thick, green mucus attached to me. I'm kind of freaking out right now, is this normal??

I get a lot of discharge when pregnant and have had what you describe but only about 5/6cm long. If there’s no cramping or bleeding and you can feel regular movements I’d say don’t panic but just double check with your midwife unit to be on the safe side.

Does it look like your vagina has sneezed? If so it's perfectly normal, it's part of the extra mucus around the cervical opening.
