Another "cramping in early pregnancy" one

I found out I was pregnant last week (currently 4w 2d so v early). Absolutely delighted as I had a mc at six weeks in November.

Last time I had quite a lot of cramping- no more than light period cramps which Dr Google told me was completely normal for that stage. My DTwin had it too during her first pregnancy so I was pretty relaxed. Had some brown discharge from c.4.5 weeks which I was also unbothered about after reading threads on it. However I miscarried then shortly after.

Now I'm pregnant again I'm getting the same cramping. I'm trying not to stress because i know it's normal but I can't stop associating the pains with what happened last time. I keep POAS-ing which I know is pointless, because I'm not stressing any less.

Basically if you had this too and had a successful pregnancy, can you tell me so I can chill my beans a bit?

Congratulations! I had loads of cramps and brown discharge at the start of my pregnancy - I now have a six month old baby!

I had lots of cramping for the first few weeks and I’m 13 weeks now Smile

Had no cramps but spotting in early pregnancy for my first. Had some definite mc craps the days before my first mc(6w), some just after bleeding with my second mc (5w), and then some major cramps and back ache and a few episodes of fresh heavy bleeding for my 4th pregnancy which I was sure would end in mc but I'm now the size of a whale and have limited breathing capacity 😂 fingers crossed for you

Just wanted to offer a hand hold and say I know exactly how this feels. After three miscarriages, all with the dreaded cramping, I was convinced I'd lose my fourth pregnancy, and we were even told we would lose the baby at 6 weeks as the sonographer couldn't find a feral pole. It's been 34 and a half weeks since then, and despite quite awful - same as the miscarriages - cramping all through my first trimester I am next to my sleeping sixteen day old baby. There is always, always hope and I promise you are not alone in this. I have my fingers crossed for you!

Fetal! Sorry, I'm beyond knackered!

I had loooooooads of cramps during the beginning of this pregnancy. Really painful ones too.

I know his hard to not worry because of what happened before but please try not to Flowers worrying sadly won’t change the outcome if the worst was to happen. You are statistically far more likely to have a successful pregnancy that to go through what happened last time Flowers

I had horrific cramps - and godawful smelly wind - in three pregnancies, lost the first :( but carried to term the other two (now age 2 and 6). Try not to worry (easier said than done I know).

I've had a crampy pregnancy and now at almost 20 weeks I still have some pain. Mostly when baby is squishing my urethra. But sneezing can still hurt all my ligaments etc. I think some of us just have more growing pains than others.
