when did u first see midwife

i was just wondering when every one went to see the midwife for the first time

me and my dp where talking about it this morning and i said i didnt see much point in going will 9 or 10 weeks as dont do any thing but a scan about 12 weeks

what did u do

I first went at 7 weeks (then nothing till booking in at 15 weeks). She didn't do much - just took my BP, and told me about which foods to avoid in PG.

I went for the booking paper work at 8 weeks then didn't see her again. . . well actually changed MW LOL but only recently saw her at 26 wks LOL
I get bored of those women who think they know it all (despite being dried up old fanjo's who have never had children!!) LOL

BTW loving the word fanjo thanks to you guys on here!! Using it all the time now, much to DH's disappointment (and, not that he'll admit it, amusement!)

I was 9 or 10 weeks when i first saw the MW.

Saw GP as soon as got my pos (around 4 weeks) and then had booking in will MW around 8 weeks. Next MW appt 12 weeks and then scan at 13.
