Spotting same day as BFP

Just wondering if anyone else has had this? What was the outcome? It’s mostly pink and it has stopped again but I’m still worried. My period isn’t due for another few days so I wish I hadn’t tested early now.

Also, I have a horrible taste in my mouth almost like hairspray?? Is this a normal symptom?

@GB54 I’m sorry I don’t have any answers for you but am experiencing similar confusion so hope the good people on here can help us both. I have had two BFP on First Response but have had spotting on and off ever since. This week I was expecting my period and got one day of heavy bleeding only. So confused 🤷‍♀️

Yes I had spotting the days before my bfp and the day of.
I always had spotting before my period arrived the week leading up to it so didn't think that month would be any different and just waited for my period. It didn't come though so tested a few days after it was due and got a BFP!
Fingers crossed you are having some implantation bleeding. Very common in the early weeks of pregnancy. Good luck!

Oh and my spotting was pink, brown and red!

Thanks so much @starfishy. I also have spotting before AF too, that’s why I’m worried it’ll still appear despite the BFP.

My spotting continued for the first week and came back again at 6w so try to be positive!

@GB54 spouting is completely normal at the beginning of pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you xx

SPOTTING lol

I usually have some before AF but didn’t before my BFP. Then the very next day, I started spotting a bit. It was a small amount and was on and off for maybe 24-36 hours. Stopped, haven’t spotted since, and I’m 21 weeks now.

It’s difficult to know but it could go either way, so hope for the best!
