Help!

I'm 43 I was sterilised 12 years ago via tubal ligation.

I haven't had a period for two months, my boobs / nipples are so sore!

I'm bloated!

Anyone on here been pregnant after being sterilised?

I'm going to get a test this evening - just wondering...

I think it’s something like a 1 in 200 failure rate for women, compared to 1 in 2000 for male sterilisation.

So it’s not no chance although could well be something else.

Sounds sensible to test and if you’ve got symptoms and are a few weeks late should give you a reliable result.

Yes, you could be. My obstetrician refused to sterilise me due to relatively high failure rates, which are increased if the sterilisation is done simultaneously with a c section! I hope you get the answer you want.

Done a test it's negative.

My boobs really hurt. No period! One month 3 weeks late!

Will have to see doc I think
