Aching hips 7 weeks pregnant

Hi everyone, I know this sounds silly but my hips are really sore to touch. They are not really painful, just a bit tender and sore when pressed.
I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and wondered if anyone else had experienced this?

I had this and was advised by my acupuncturist to take magnesium, / calcium / vitamin D. It worked :-)

Sore joints, especially hips, yes. Very common. Look up SPD (it may have another official name). SPD is caused by the hormones that loosen your ligaments to allow you to give birth, making things a bit too loose, too early.

I had this throughout pregnancy and it went away quickly afterwards.

Thank you for your replies. I'm glad that it is normal. It is my first pregnancy after suffering a miscarriage last August so every little thing is worrying me!

My hip joints have been aching for most of my pregnancy. I find walking a lot and sleeping with a pillow between my legs helps. Good luck and congratulations!
