when did your belly button become a full on outie? did anyone's belly button not fully come out?

I'm 25+5 and at the moment it just looks like an open goldfish mouth (not sure how else to describe it) and I'm wondering if and when it will 'pop out' fully

Mine never did. It got VERY shallow though!

Mine isn’t out and my bump is huge, think it depends how deep it is in the first place?

35 w and mine is very shallow but not an outie. Was very deep pre prep and I my excess weight (size 24) was lower belly fat (stress, sugar, wheat etc)

5 pregnancies & it never once popped out. Depending on their position it would sometimes become flat but that was it.

Size 14 even, not that it matters, just trying to make the point that I think body composition makes a difference, someone I know who is 3 weeks ahead of me and more pear shaped, flattter tun has hers pop out really early

It just stayed verrrrrry shallow with DD the whole way through, but this time it popped fairly early- about 26 weeks?

Mine is just flat now - neither in or out haha! I'm 38 weeks

Mine just went flat. I'm a size 10-12.

sorry I think I used the wrong terminology. by pop out I meant it becoming flat. sorry guys it's Friday and I'm running in an hour of hospital appointments

Mine has been completely flat since about 26 weeks. Currently approaching 32 weeks.

@spooples so I guess if mine is going to be flat it will be I the next week or 2

Mine didn't do much in my first pregnancy. This time round it's been sticking out for ages! Probably since before 30 weeks. It's weird seeing it inside out!

I’m 38 weeks with my second and it’s still a proper innie, same as last time!

3 pregnancies, size 10 and it never has. Always stayed ‘in’

Mine didn't with my first, got close and very shallow but never actually happened.

Seems the same this pregnancy, I'm 37+5 now and just very very shallow! X

Wanted to ask, did anyone of the posters who replied have a piercing when pregnant? Wondering what i would do with mine should i ever be lucky enough to fall pregnant!

My belly button has collapsed in on itself like a tiny black hole 😂 I guess it will come back out as bump gets bigger but at 18 weeks it's just a line, very strange!

I have a piercing that I haven't worn anything in for a few years (I got it when I was 15 and had a nice flat stomach. Not so cute at 33!). It's just kind of stretched a bit with the rest of the skin. No idea what it'll look like after!

I think you can get special bars to put in for pregnancy but I don't plan to ever wear a piercing in it again so I didn't bother.
