I took a test and got a negative, but no control line?

I've had a blood test and I get my results back on monday but, me being impatient, I took a urine one this morning. It came up with a negative but the control line never came up. I know I shouldn't, as I'm young, but part of me can't help but hope I'm carrying a little one! I don't want to get my hopes up. Is there still a possibility I'm pregnant?

The control line appears on every test but it's the 'test' line you're looking for for a positive result x

Hmm I would think maybe test again in a couple of days for a better result. Sorry for my first pointless answer as I read it wrong 🙄😂

You'll only know if you wait for the blood results or take another test.

@LauraBrown1 I should get my blood test back soon so I think I might just wait for that. I can't help but get my hopes up. I'm so nervous

The control line is there to tell you if the test is working or not. No control line means you can't trust the result. You'll need to take another test or wait for your results x

@OnlyATeen blood test will give best result but if you cannot wait that long I think first response tests are fab and quick

@ChocolateAddictionIsReal Thanks, I also relate a lot to your username lmao @LauraBrown1 I think I'm just going to wait now. my mum and dad and my boyfriend are all so nervous! I'm sure everything will work out though. I'll post when I get my results x

@LauraBrown1 my test came back negative. Now I'm just scared worrying what's wrong with me hehe. Looks like it's more trips to the doctor for me! Thanks for all your help
