Wind or contraction?

I'm 37+3, DS arrived at 38+1 and though I had latent labour with him it was waters breaking that started labour 'proper'.

The last couple of days I've been really windy. Not trapped wind, but loud and frequent Blush. I've also had 3/4 contractions- painful enough to wake me up but come to nothing.

Then now, in the last half hour I've had 3 what I can only describe as uncomfortable spasms. A cross between period cramps, IBS cramps and wind.

I know only time will tell.

Really, really hoping it isn't labour!

Currently 38+2 with DC2 and could have written your post!! My waters also went first with DC1 so no question about what the contraction pain was!

It'll be interesting to see if it means anything for either or both of us! Got to be honest I'm sick of being pregnant now so I hope so Grin

@needanappp fingers crossed for you.

I've just had a less than pleasant toilet experience, so something is happening. Just going to wait to be sure though before ringing in (I'm booked in for a section so need to go in asap if it is labour).

Ooh how exciting! Hope you got there for your section!

Thecaravan on delivery ward now. Confirmed still breech so going for a section first thing, unless the contractions ramp up between now and then.

Contractions ramped up quickly so ended up with an emergency section!

What happened with you @needanappp?

@Endofrelationship congratulations!! Wishing you all the luck for your section, youll be meeting your little one in no time!! Grin

Unfortunately everything seems to have halted for me so I think they might have just been typical third trimester symptoms for me!
