Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has experienced similar and what you did...... I'm 32wks today and for the last few days it feels like baby has changed position... She was head down at my midwife appointment last week now it feels like she's lying right across my middle, I've been Googleing and worried that's she's now transverse? Is this possible at this stage or am I being paranoid? Should I Contact my midwife or will it be fine to wait until next appointment ( on the 30th)? Tia x

No harm in contacting the midwife as they'll be keen to know as you're getting closer. If your LO has moved they might have suggestions to encourage him or her to move back. I tried all sorts to move my LO but she just wouldn't budge!

It is completely possible last week my baby was head down and had been for weeks next again day had another growth scan and she had flipped to transverse... she has been changing between both all week which is freaking me out lol.

When is your next midwife appointment?
If it's before 36 weeks your fine cause apparently if they don't stay head down at 36-37 weeks they try turn them if they don't turn you get kept in hospital and c-sectioned due to risk of cord prolapse.

This is my 4th baby and the only one who hasn't stayed engaged from around 28 weeks lol mind you my third was back to back and wasn't picked up on was a rather painful labour after being induced and put on the drip too lol xx

@courtneybrown my next appointment is on the 30th Jan. I'll be 34wks then... So maybe I'll just hang on and see if she moves again, it's just flipping uncomfortable when she streaches!!
