Has anyone had one of these recently? I’m wondering if it’s worth the postage as I’m not near a colllection

It's only the box, a pack of very size1 nappies, a pack of wipes and one muslin. Unless you'll use the box for sleeping I don't think it's worth it.

Helsvamp · 17/01/2019 14:25

You
You get a mattress with it . I have paid postage for mine

boatyroo · 17/01/2019 15:24

If you want to use it for sleeping I think it is worth it. It comes with a mattress and sheet. I have a newborn and we are using it for downstairs sleeping.

Springmummy19 · 17/01/2019 15:27

I've just ordered mine

Helsvamp · 17/01/2019 16:28

So looking forward to getting mine

magdela · 17/01/2019 16:33

I got mine a few weeks ago and it's a lovely box but doesn't come with a lid - so if you are planning on using it as a keepsake box (as I was) then I wouldn't bother! I can see it will come in handy for having an alternative safe-sleep space rather than moving a crib from room to room.

TheMagicTorch · 17/01/2019 16:36

I was happy with mine, paid the postage and we are planning to use it as an alternative to a moses basket downstairs to save moving moses baskets from room to room. It comes with a little mattress and sheet, some nappies and a few tester items.

Anyat212 · 17/01/2019 16:58

I’ve had mine for a few weeks and I’m pleased with it, as another PP stated I’m too using it for downstairs so I don’t need to carry the Mosses basket up/down the stairs. It’s a cute box which is nicely decorated too.

For postage only - I think it’s worth it!

xJune88 · 17/01/2019 17:12

I did the course and got sent a code last night but no pick up points near me so I'm not going to bother. I don't think it's worth paying postage for personally x

xJune88 · 17/01/2019 17:13

I don't know if I send my code to anyone else they could possibly have it. I have the code if anyone wants to try. I'm in Yorkshire x

Russell19 · 19/01/2019 15:42

I'm struggling to get mine. It keeps saying something went wrong online....

GrizzlebumsMum · 19/01/2019 18:40

Ours was a godsend. We didn’t think we’d use it at all, but my now 7 week old has loved it since the start. He would settle in the box but hated his Moses. And it’s got little black and white animal images printed on the inside which were a lovely early sensory experience for him. He still likes to have a conversation with the animals (except the black cat which he shouts at!)

It was worth every penny of the postage and then some for us. Saved my sanity!

Helsvamp · 20/01/2019 20:12

How long to take to get it ?

TheMagicTorch · 21/01/2019 09:36

@GrizzlebumsMum Oh fab, lovely to hear a review from someone who has already used it! I love the animals on it, hopefully baby does too when she gets here Smile

Puggles123 · 21/01/2019 09:51

It is completely worth the postage (which is around £7) imo.

Clacton · 22/01/2019 15:09

Hi all

Those that have had this delivered, please could you advise how it was packaged? Was going to get it delivered to work but don't want to if it says "baby box" all over it 😊

Thanks

TulipsTwoLips · 22/01/2019 15:34

It says baby box co on the packaging

Notquiteagandt · 22/01/2019 15:40

@Clacton comes in a huge box with baby box and the logo on the side. They text you a time slot though for it to be delivered.

I originally got it as a travel cot. For if went someones house but its much bigger than I exspected so unsure what to do with it now tbh. But handy to have I guess. Just not sure id of spent £7 on it.

Clacton · 22/01/2019 16:25

I'm planning on using it for sleeping downstairs.
Definitely one to have delivered at home then! Thanks for the help all

Jackshouse · 22/01/2019 16:31

www.lullabytrust.org.uk/are-baby-boxes-safe-to-sleep-baby/

The lullaby trust has concerns about the safety of these boxes. I’m not judging but I was sure I had read something about SIDS concerns with the boxes. Just thought you guys maybe interested.

Trash2019 · 05/02/2019 08:53

Hi I ordered one of these boxes to be delivered in January but not heard anything since, I emailed them with order number only and asked where it was, I got a message to say provided all my details to speed up responce.
Is this a scam ?

Helsvamp · 05/02/2019 09:23

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and still waiting for mine

Trash2019 · 05/02/2019 09:33

Thanks I ordered one 16 Jan so 3weeks also. Just have to wait and see !
Thanks

TulipsTwoLips · 05/02/2019 09:42

I ordered mine some time last year. Took possibly up to a month to arrive but definitely arrived!
