Anyone been abroad around the 30 week pregnant mark? Looking to be Greece or Spain in May time so won’t be too scorching.
If you’ve done it, how was it? Or generally how do you think I’ll feel around that time?
We’ll just be relaxing, enjoying the sun and having some nice food

Haven’t done it but make sure you check that airline will let you fly. They probably will but after 27/28 weeks you might need a fit to fly letter from your doctor.

I’ve booked Lanzarote in April when I’ll be 24 weeks, can’t wait!!

Depends on how you’re feeling at the time if you end up having back pain etc. If your pregnancy is going well then go for it bet you’ll love it it’ll be nice and relaxing Smile

I went to Crete at 29 weeks and had a great time. We booked an all inclusive package so we could eat in the hotel if I didn’t feel up to going out and we mainly did half-day trips out so I could have a nap late afternoon if needed.

I had to have a GP letter for the airline and I made sure our travel insurance covered care for the baby if he was born prematurely whilst we were there (I used Ravenhall and it cost about £50 for me and my partner) but thankfully didn’t have any problems.

We went to Cyprus over New Year as I was just about 28 weeks - we asked our midwife about a fit to fly letter and she was really happy to prepare one, although in the end nobody asked to see it! We took my notes and did a little bit of research into local healthcare in case something happened while we were away. We also made sure our travel insurance covered anything with the baby - I think most of them do unless you’ve had any difficulties with the pregnancy so far. It was lovely to have some time away with just DH, and we felt like we were on the home strait when we got back 🙂 Hope you have a lovely time when you go x
