Hello all,
I just had my letter listing my Downs, Edwards and Patau risk. It says I have a 1 in 426 risk of Downs and a 1 in 100000 risk of Edwards and Patau. I'm 37 (will be 38 at EDD on July 12th), so am fine with that.
The only issue is, they've put me down as a smoker for some reason, and I'm definitely not a smoker! Does anyone know how much they factor this in when calculating final risk? I.E: Would my risk go up or down by a lot? I know smoking can skew your HCG and PAPP-A levels...
The hospital have said the lab should get back to me by Monday but that feels like a long wait!
Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom... x
