Iv hit the " I'm sick of being pregnant" wall ... HARD!

I'm not sleeping, Iv got restless legs, fanny daggers galore, immense pressure in the bum, internal hemmoroids, painful baby movements, nasal congestion, achy everything...

So yeah... Iv had enough now! I'm 37 weeks... the prospect of potentially 5 more weeks is really giving me the fears!!

Anyone else with me??

I know that feeling, was like that from 37 weeks with DS. The only thing stopping me from feeling it this time is knowing I have a section booked at 39 weeks and knowing how much I hate the newborn phase (mainly how much less sleep I'll get!).

kmreeve · 16/01/2019 16:55

I'd take 20 newborns over being pregnant- I bloody hate it!! This is my fourth, you'd think I'd have learnt my lesson!!

Will deffo get more sleep once she's here, I'm lucky if I get 2 hours atm - it's brutal!

It's totally crap.
After each of my four babies were born after "are they ok?" The next thing i said "thank god im not pregnant anymore!"
Nothing is going to make it go away but if you can cope with being touched I found a massage really nice or going swimming floating just to feel weightless for a bit.

kmreeve I envy your increased sleep once baby arrives. DS was a demon, I didn't get more than 2-3 hours a night (24hr period) for months with him. Now I'm on mat leave I get 6 or more as I sleep in the day too.

36 1/2 weeks and have had enough. I'm looking forward to being able to go from sitting to standing without making unattractive grunting noises from the pain!

Yakadee · 17/01/2019 10:31

I did reply to this but it's disappeared?

I'm with you op - a lot of the same symptoms! I cannot wait to be able to breath through my nose!

I'm 37 weeks like you but thankfully I know my date as having a section (29/01). I feel for you having potentially quite a few more weeks to go (I hope not) x

I'm only 36w tomorrow and getting to the totally fed up point. Would defo take the sleepless nights with a baby over these pointless sleepless nights of aches and pains with a boulder on my front. Oh and don't get me started on the heartburn 😫

Jackshouse · 17/01/2019 12:35

I remember this stage. My sister has a theory that it happens so that you are looking forward to end of being pregnant and labour is less worrying.

Yakadee · 17/01/2019 12:41

@Jackshouse - maybe that's it! I tried everything to get my son moving and was still induced! X

MrsY87 · 17/01/2019 14:54

36w tomorrow with twins and I am over it. Luckily I have an induction booked for 9 days time so the end is in sight but I am just done. I can't breathe, eat much, sleep well, need to wee constantly and am having loads of braxton hicks.

I have no energy to do anything fun with my DD and DS so I feel guilty about how much tv they are watching, CBeebies is educational, right?!

Yakadee · 17/01/2019 15:13

@MrsY87 - that's what I'm going with #sameboat!
