I woke this morning feeling normal (I have had a very healthy and easy pregnancy so far) but by the time I'd left the house I was feeling light-headed and...erm... high as a kite. I felt good but pretty spaced out. I then got to work and started feeling even more spacey, and suddenly burst into tears for no reason. A colleague got me a cuppa and a tissue and I called the maternity unit, who basically said it was just hormonal.
I couldn't stop crying at my desk, so I left to walk home (10 minute walk) but as soon as I started walking I was getting a strong pain in my right side from my front to my back. It stopped me in my tracks a few times and was pretty constant, so not like contractions. I am now sitting down on the sofa and it has eased off, but I can still sort of feel the sensation in the background. Also, just feel 'off' and a bit baffled by my random symptoms!
Baby is moving around plenty. I am well, sleeping okay, eating well. Happy in myself.
I had accepted the midwife's (and my husband's) diagnosis of 'hormones' but the strong sensation in my side has baffled me further. I'm going to take it easy today, but if anyone has had any similar happen to them, it would be interesting to hear about.
