I’m so worried tested positive on the Friday had flu/hacking cough last 2 days still full blown pregnancy symptoms cramps seem to have gone but my legs have been cramping a lot to the point they were in agony yesterday I think it’s to do with my flu spent all day feeling dreadful only for it to get 10x worse when I went to the bathroom to see brown discharge wiped/pushed a little to see a small dark red clot :( I’m so worried & upset it’s miscarriage I’ve had no more bleeding or discrarge since it’s definitely not implantation bleeding as I had that for 2 days last week has anyone else experienced this & gone on to have a normal pregnancy?

@clh666 they say bleeding through pregnancy is normal but if was a clot I think it would be best to get checked out at the doctors just to be on the safe side. 🤞🏽 hope everything is alright for you!

Yeh I’m going to go next week as they can’t scan until 6 weeks apparently if you go before then they just say let nature take its course so going to see what happens over the next few days I’m also relocating so going to get myself registered at my new surgery tomorrow ... I’m feeling a bit calmer today thanks still got all my symptoms & no more bleeding I guess there’s no point getting worked up and upset as it won’t change anything if it is the worst case :/ my fiancé is doing his best to reassure me & is off work the next two days so at least I won’t be on my own il keep you updated x

@clh666 if the bleeding is starting to subside that could be good news you know. They say if it's heavy and starts to go like a bright red colour then seek doctors but normal spotting here and there is completely fine. And sorry I never thought about that they wouldn't do it before 6 weeks, you're right. Keep me updated x

Your right I’ve been reading other people’s missaccarage experices & it does seem to be the case so just trying to stay positive & put my mind on other things I’m a strong believer in positive mind positive outcome 🤞🏻 Ahh no no need to apologise I instantly thought the same thing last night i was hoping it would of been a case of go in get referred for a scan but apparently the heart beat doesn’t show till 6 weeks + .. seems like such a long time to find out now if all is ok .. sorry I’m going on a bit but yesterday I just had a horrible feeling because my cramps stopped & I didn’t feel pregnant but I think it’s probably where I felt so poorly with flu where my legs hurt so much too today just feeling like I have done the last 2 weeks could all just be clutching at straws though who knows ..

I’ve been pregnant 4 times and had bleeding in every pregnancy. 2 of those pregnancies ended in lovely bouncing babies and 2 ended in miscarriage. Bleeding can just be implantation and then after initial implantation you can often bleed again when the egg is ‘burrowing’. In my experience a bit of spotting / when you wipe isn’t terrible unless you have cramping too. Good luck, it may be nothing at all but it is the most stressful thing to wait out.

LauraBrown1 · 15/01/2019 12:29

See I heard so much about bleeding being normal that I'm actually waiting to see a little bit spotting yet. I'm currently 9 +3 and the only symptom I've had is cramping 🤷🏼‍♀️

clh666 · 15/01/2019 12:45

Thank you for the advice really appreciate it sorry to hear you experienced 2 misscarages.. Hopefully it’s where it’s burrowing 🤞🏻 I’ve had no cramping my legs have been cramping a lot though but I think it’s where I have flu at the moment I’m feeling more pregnant today ie neusia feeling hot/headache & sore boobies 🙈 started taking pregnacare yesterday too ... have had no more bleeding at all since about 8pm last night I guess if something is going to happen it will happen today it’s horrible waiting to see hence why I’m putting it to the back of my mind & trying to stay positive Smile We only started ttc since October following having my IUD removed my previous one was embedded in my womb had that out early 2018 then I had a cervical biopsy in November I only got the all clear 2 weeks ago finding out we’re pregnant was such a joyous surprise after a months of uncertainty/worry I would be gutted to loose it so would my other half x

Aww congratulations on being 9 weeks ahh not long till your scan now Smile sounds like you have a really good healthy pregnancy going you must be so excited is it your first?? Grin & yeh I absolutely agree with you the more I’m reading into this it seems spotting /bleeding is very common ... I think it just freaked out because in my first pregnancy I had no implantation bleeding or spotting at all so not used to it my other half has a daughter from a previous relationship & he said her mum bled for the first two months & had implantation bleeding so maybe it’s something to do with his swimmers 😂😂

I don’t want to unnecessarily get your hopes up but mine was after coughing and it turned out to be a sort of benign haemorrhage where the egg had implanted? That’s how they explained it..?

clh666 · 17/01/2019 09:37

Yeh it could be I had light spotting the last 3 days ended up calling 111 due to not being able to get an appointment got sent to gynaecologist took bloods/pregnancy test still pregnant hcg levels are 150 having a scan tomorrow as they feel the levels are high enough they will see if it’s there or not lol so 🤞🏻
