Confusion over dates, please help driving myself mad

OK this may long, sorry in advance.
I found out slightly later on that I was pregnant so when I went for my first scan they dated me at 16+3. They said at the time it's harder to get an accurate date at this point. However I was absolutely sure this date was wrong. For a start by their date I would have felt baby move at only 11 weeks! And the midwife would have heard the heartbeat at just 12 weeks! I have a really high bmi and an anterior placenta so honestly don't believe either of these could have happened this early.
Fast forward to now by their dates I am 28+1 but I look and feel almost term. The immense pressure low down, back ache, all movements seem to be feet up the top suggesting she is head down, midwife has measured me 3 weeks ahead and the last 3 scans have all put me 3-4 weeks ahead. Even period and ovulation dates put me a minimum of 2 weeks ahead. Yet they are still sticking by their dates.
Please help me figure this out

I can see why you're confused.. I had a bit of confusion like this myself during my pregnancy. But I wouldn't drive yourself crazy over it. In some countries they just have a birth month estimate because due dates are only correct 4% of the time!

I def see why you are confused and you will prob never know the real answer... But from my experience if the baby is measuring ahead that much then baby will make an appearance whenever he/She is ready. For me at 30 weeks he measured 4 weeks ahead. I went into labour naturally at 38 weeks and he was 9lb 6oz. I believe I must have been 42 weeks then but will never know!
