Physically mainly.

Especially if you went overdue.

How much were you able to live your normal life? Did you need to rest more or just carry on?

I'm 31 weeks st the moment so have this to look forward to 😏again. But with my other two, just generally huge and unable to do things I thought I still could. Everything was a chore lol, I kind of gave up thinking a baby was ever coming and was surprised when I went into labour

Thanks
Just feeling a bit shit about having to slow down and am unsure if it’s just me being bad at pregnancy or if everyone struggles a bit towards the end

Just had my third baby at 12 days overdue. By the end I was knackered. I didn’t have SPD or anything like that but struggled physically.
On the other hand I was 6 days and 2 days over with my first two and felt fine right until the end.

I’m currently 41 weeks. My back aches all the time, I feel like I’m walking around with a bowling ball between my legs, and if I sit down I fall asleep.

Had no choice but to carry on during the last three pregnancies due to having other DC. I was stroppy and wanted to hibernate for the last 3-4 weeks of all the pregnancies. Just super uncomfortable and moody.

Had DD at 12 days overdue. In all honesty I felt fine. I was walking the dogs right up to when labour started, sleeping OK, everything. I did have heartburn though.

Sore back and pelvis and generally knackered but other kids so had to crack on.

I'm 37+6 & really starting to feel it. The insomnia is hitting me the hardest. I can still walk the dogs if my plantar fasciitis is ok, heartburn has eased off a bit though. I just feel fat lumpy and slow Sad

I'm Am pregnant with baby number 3 my other children are 3 and 18 months have managed well till this point no real problems- just had gestational diabetes with 2 nd baby. I'm now 27 weeks and suffering a lot with spd I work 2 days a week but 10 hour days and I now feel like I'm on a emotional rollercoaster - I have been so good up until now but physically and mentally struggling to keep positive! 3 months to go seems like forever. Will be so happy when I can hold my baby in my arms and have a safe delivery.

Am currently 10 days overdue and feeling groggy and rotten. Have been sleeping on and off all day and not managing to do anything productive. It's been a really straightforward pregnancy too but the past week has been a struggle. Partly mental I think from going over and being grumpy about it. This is my first though so can sit about doing nothing. Think it'll be a lot harder if I was to have a second.

Thanks everyone. I also have other dc (3 of them) so have also had to just carry on but at the same time have had to accept that I am slower than usual and more tired and that it hurts to do certain things.

I’m still doing school runs, preparing meals, cleaning the house, playing with my toddler, taking toddler to groups etc but it is all leaving me a lot more tired than usual, going up and down stairs or walking anywhere kills my pelvis...

Wasn’t sure if for other people carrying on as normal meant feeling completely normal as well.
