So i thought i was 8 weeks pregnant. Had an early private scan saturday morning and she said there was a sack and a yolk so im more around 6 weeks pregnant. Everything was in the right place and looked fine. Anyway i have woken up this morning and had pink spotting when i wipe. I phoned the midwife and i have an appointment tomorrow morning at hospital to check whats going on. Im just looking for some reassurance really. Is spotting normal? Had a missed miscarrige in August but it didnt start with spotting it was a full on bleed. Just really worried now.

Hi @Chickenfillets 😊 I'm currently 9 +2 and although I've never had any spotting, I was told at my first midwife app that it's completely normal so try not to worry too much. Of course it's best to get it all checked out for you but try not to worry as they say it's normal. Also If you've had any cramps just like period pains that's complete normal too as it's the stretching to make room for baby. Hope it all goes well xx

Thanks @LauraBrown1. Spotting has stopped now thankfully, still going to attend my appointment tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

Hi OP, I had some spotting at around 7 weeks. I'm 19 weeks now and he's still there, nice and strong.

Just to reassure you that I also had spotting at around 6.5 weeks (quite a lot) - a scan confirmed there was still a heartbeat, and my daughter is now 3! So don't panic x

Thank you both. You have given me some hope. Praying everything will be fine when i get checked out in the morning.

Hi OP, I bled in both my pregnancies in different ways and times and luckily both were fine. Very much hope it's the same for you.
