I’ve stopped my mini pill (Desorex) exactly 2 weeks in and it’s been a week, I’ve not had a withdrawal bleed yet. I have only been on the pill since May 2018. We have had unprotected sex every night since Sunday (the day I stopped) so is there a chance I could be pregnant already? I’m really unsure on how this works with a withdrawal bleed and fertility. Any advice would be really helpful as we are trying to conceive our first, thank you in advance! X

It's hard to tell if you've not had a period yet but it is possible. When I spoke to my doctor about coming off the mini pill to conceive I was told that I could fall pregnant straight away.

If you've only been off your pill 2 weeks you should probably wait another 2 weeks before testing.

Ovulation sticks are really useful too, it'll tell you when you are fertile and should be trying lots. Have you read about ttc online? I got some really useful tips that I would never have known, things you should and shouldn't do. Got my fingers crossed you get a bfp 😊

After trying for 10 months we finally used clear blue ovulation kit, it worked first time! Good luck x
