Brown Spotting and Cramping Week 5

Hi there,
First time on here and first pregnancy so may not be describing everything right but I just don't know what to do.

We have been TTC for 6 months and just yday got a BFP. Preg calculator says I'm 4 weeks and 6 days today.
I thought I was getting my period due to brown spotting that lasted a few days on Day 25 of my cycle but my period never came so eventually did the test yday and was so so happy to get a positive!

This morning it all came crashing down thought when I woke up with cramps and brown spotting. It was only when I went to the loo and wiped - and it looked like there were small bits in it. A bit like at the beginning of my period. I've been mild-medium cramping all day and an hour ago started spotting again. Brown, with bits.

I'm so scared. I have a mild bicornuate uterus and have had cervical and uterine polyps before that have been removed twice, so there's probably a couple small ones up there now.

Is this normal. Everything I've read is so confusing and seems to say that spotting is ok as long as it doesn't come with cramping, but I've been cramping all day!

Can it still be implantation bleeding even though I thought I had that a week ago?

My periods are usually VERY heavy and painful due to heart-shaped womb and polyps so I've always thought there may be complications.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and sorry for the waffle. I'm very scared and worried. I haven't even been to the doctor yet as it's so early.

I’m afraid the real answer is that no one can tell you what you want to know. It could be implantation I think, and I’m sure I had cramping with my dd. But only time will tell lovely and I wish you all the good fortune, I remember how stressful it all is xx
