Well, firstly I found out the sex of my baby today - a little girl! :)

However, the sonographer noticed, for the first time, a 4cm fibroid. This definitely wasn’t visible on the last scan. She told me I will need to get it checked out at the 20week scan due to the size increase (it definitely wasn’t visible at 12 weeks) and the position. Has anyone else had any complications?

I had 3 fibroids noted at a 7 week scan, yet mine have stayed exactly the same size at the 12 week scan and by 20 weeks only 2 fibroids were seen, still the same size and not sure what has happened to the 3rd. I'm sure someone else will have more similar experience to you and can advise you, but I was told they can either grow or shrink in response to pregnancy hormones so it's good they are keeping an eye on it. I'm sure it will all turn out fine.
