So it's DP's birthday next week and as I'm 12 weeks pregnant, I was thinking of getting him a book about fatherhood. Do you have any recommendations, anything your DPs read and loved? Something light-hearted yet with useful info would be ideal - our first baby and I know he's freaking out a little bit too Smile

A great book that my husband really found useful and informative is The Expectant Dad's Handbook by Dean Beaumont. I also read it as it had some very useful information on pain relief and stuff as well. The main thing my husband really liked about it is that it clearly explained the dad's role within pregnancy, labour and birth and also goes on to getting to know your baby.

I second The Expectant Dad's Handbook too, my DP read it within a week and really enjoyed it. Definately recommend.

Pregnancy for men by Mark Woods. My partner literally laughs out loud at it. Its light hearted but has really good information in it.
