Would a pregnancy test work ?

Hello,

I have been experiencing a few symptoms such as watery discharge for a few days, lower back ache, cramps, nausea.

Yesterday a day before af was due I had a slight bleed only when wiping, today my af has come just the slight bleed, I was wondering if a pregnancy test would work with the slight bleed am currently having ?

I would try a test if you're not sure this is defo af. They say if you're getting symptoms you should get a positive on a test if pregnant.

The bleeding won't affect the result in itself, but may be implantation bleeding, in which case you may not have enough HCG in your system yet so it won't show positive.

This won't make a difference to a pregnancy test..

@endofrealtionship thank you, yeah I think it might be implantation as I have been having a look on internet, today is my af due but it’s only a small amount of brown blood ( sorry if TMI) I wonder how long it would take to get hcg levels to test

Took me 4 days from ib to bfp first time and 2 days second time.

There is nothing worse than is it a line isn't it a line, to avoid disappointment use a FRER saying that if ur willing to wait 3-4days after what u believe to be an implantation bleed (it does sound as if it could be) then u may be ok with a cheapie

If you leave it a day or two you shouldn't be bleeding, and with a small bleed it's more likely to be just on the tissue and not coming out with your urine, if you are unsure pee in a small pot check it then dip your stick..

Iv always chosen to pee in a pot as there is no risk of you flooding the test..

I used a few from the pound shop, all coming back negative. Turns out I was six weeks pregnant..and now I have a 5 month old lol!
I did a boots brand and clear blue and came back positive x

Hi, i have had 3 very faint lines?? i just dont know weather this means am preganant or not? its the very 1 st month we have tried is it too soon? althou my Son was concieved last time within a month we thought that was a fluke xxx i have a picture but dont know how to upload? x

Seen as u are now late and still getting BFN I think it's likely on this occasion you aren't pregnant..

This is my first tome using a cheaper one as was spending a fortune on tests so thought I would give them a shot.

I had spotting which I believed was my period. Just leave it for a few days and do another one just to be on the safe side x

@Bigonesmallone3 I think it depends what you consider shit. Clear blue have always given me false positives unless it's a digital and I'm days late. Where as internet cheapies have given me clear positives early on and I've confirmed with a first response.

I got my positives using Poundland tests. The day before my period was due as well so they do work.

Oh I don't doubt that, they work for some but overall I wouldn't recommend
