Pregnant or period - please advise me

Hello,

We have been ttc for about 3 months now, we had sex during my fertile days, I am due on tomorrow Sunday 13th January, I have had some symptoms such as watery discharge, mild cramps, lower back ache, today the 12th I had a bit of brown blood only a little bit though.

Could this be a sign of pregnancy or early period ?

Could be either I'm afraid. Have you tested?

Tbh it could be either.

Only way to tell is to either wait or get a pregnancy test.

I took two pregnancy tests the day before my period and they were positive.

@hogtini no I haven’t tested yet think am a little scared of testing incase it’s negative again. But will have to test or wait till tomorrow

Do your periods usually start with a bit of brown blood? When I found out I was pregnant, I had a tiny bit of brown blood the day before I was due which then completely stopped. My periods didn’t usually start that way so that’s why I suspected I was pregnant. It could go either way I’m afraid. Don’t torture yourself, get a FRER and find out. Good luck x

@fran94 it’s a First Response Early Result pregnancy test. You can get them from most supermarkets. They’re the most sensitive pregnancy test so if you’re due on tomorrow it would give a positive result if you were pregnant x

@gobletoffire thank you iv still not come on yet just slight bleed when wiping would a first response still work with me having the slight bleed when wiping ?

If you’re pregnant then yes it would still work. Good luck x
