Maternity / pregnancy bras

I have big boobs to start with (34e) but they’re already growing more 🙈 and I’m starting to get that attractive double boob effect. I’ve read that you shouldn’t wear underwired bras during pregnancy, so I wondered if anyone has any suggestions for non wired bras that are still supportive? Thanks!

Current advice actually says a well fitting underwired bra is fine, but I couldn't stand wires during the first trimester and now fat prefer the comfort of non wired.

Get ye to a Bravissimo ASAP. They stick the Panache Sophie nursing bra which is both pretty and supportive. They also have Hotmilk which is a nice nursing brand. They also do quite a few non nursing bras without wires which being designed for DD+ boobs are generally quite supportive!

I’m big aswell and took myself off to Marks and Sparks in the week. The lady measured me properly and was really helpful, she measured me slightly bigger to allow growing room and to save a bit of money!

bravisimmo are amazing. i went there a few years back and they were so helpful and the bra not only gave my great support (i was 32G) but the fitting were so good and extremely comfortable. they are a bit pricey though but worth it.

I had a breast reduction and went down to a 32D( preganacy has made me a 34 D) and the only place I could find close to me with good bras was Debenhams. i didn't get Maternity ones. i just got non wired ones which are just as good and very good quality.

I bought two of these with DC1 and loved them hoping they still fit this time. I bought a non wired one for night time.

I just bought some maternity/nursing bras from M&S today. They have 5 back hook sizes so very adjustable with change. My cup size has gone up anyway but I got a cup with a little extra room for any further growth and for nursing. So comfy and I'm glad I finally bought them!

I was a 32GG before pregnancy and I did struggle to get anything in the shops. I’ve got 3 maternity bras from figleaves.

I was a bit silly and didn’t get remeasured so took a guess and bought them online but they are soooooo comfy. Expensive though!

I was a 28F/30E pre-pregnancy. Have gone up a little to 32E. Went to Bravissimo and got this in navy and pink:

It’s actually a post surgery bra so it does have space for a prosthetic but is non wired and really comfortable. It’s got 5 hooks so room for adjusting and is supportive.

It’s non wired but with moulded cups and does seem really supportive and there’s still a bit of give and growing room in it. They’re not totally beautiful but it’s giving me a nice shape and is comfy!

I bought mine from Mothercare, they’re great, so comfortable and reasonably priced. I had a couple of bargains in the Jan sale too.

Oooh thanks everyone! Looks like a trip to Bravissimo is on the cards so I can try a few on. I’ll check out the sales too.
