Is anyone else still feeling exhausted at almost 20 weeks ? I feel as tired as I did in the first trimester it’s starting to get me down , then I feel guilty for feeling down as I’m so happy to be pregnant. Midwife said she will test for anemia at my next appointment , maybe it’s that or maybe just the second tri energy is a lie Sad

Don’t feel bad for feeling this way, you can be over the moon to be pregnant but still struggle. I don’t know what’s ‘normal’ but I’ve definitley had random pockets throughout where I’ve felt exhausted, I found that drinking more water, eating enough and getting into a better bed time routine have all helped. Probably worthwhile them testing for anemia in case though, and it’s easily sorted with tablets if so :) just listen to your body and relax if you can, and continue to let your midwife know how you’re feeling.

Yeah I absolutely hear you. 21 weeks tomorrow and struggling to stay awake... have fallen asleep in front of the tv, in the bath and at the cinema oops.

Also still got morning sickness. Wasn't this bad for my first so it's been a shock to the system. So much for feeling better in the second trimester haha.

27 weeks, still have morning sickness and exhaustion, not as bad as first trimester, but could happily sleep 12+ hours, not anaemic though. Have just been started on anti sickness tablets and prescribed 2 weeks rest by GP and finally feeling relatively OK. 6 weeks to go until my Mat leave starts, counting down the days!

I love my little one (he's 6 weeks now) but I genuinely hated being pregnant. There was a period of about a month I felt great but the rest was a drag! Definitely get checked for anaemia and take it easy x

Pregnancy is terrible. I can't walk from pelvic girdle pain, I'm exhausted from anaemia and I can't sleep from rib flare. It's not great.

But I wouldn't change getting this present for the world. I suffered infertility for several years and his is an ivf pregnancy. I thought I'd paid my dues... Mother Nature has other ideas.

Thank you so much everyone that’s really helpful to know it’s not just me Flowers I’m going to try an rest as much as I can , and try to lift my mood abit. Il ask my gp or midwife to test me also. Fingers crossed pregnancy speeds up for all of us Xx
