Any advice? 6+2 wks. Had bleeding at 5+2 but still showing BFP

Hi, I had four days of light bleeding last week at 5weeks starting with brown then purple and a little bit of red. Retested on Sunday (stopped bleeding Saturday) and clear blue digi still said pregnant 3+, so I went to the GP on Monday who said I’ve most probably miscarried and to retest a week after bleeding has stopped. I’ve retested this evening and I’m still getting a strong BFP. The not knowing is like torture. The GP says it’s too early to be referred to EPU even though I went at this stage last time (not a good outcome then).
Any advice gratefully received!

If you're still getting strong lines on your test and they haven't become fainter then it sounds positive. Have you considered going for a private early scan for reassurance? At 6 weeks plus they should be able to see the yolk sac at the very least, and likely an embryo with a heartbeat.
