20 weeks pregnant and just don't want to go to work!

I started a new and exciting job where I have a lot of autonomy, pretty much around the time I found out I was pregnant (I like to keep things complicated lol).

The thing is, I love my new job and was so excited to get started, but now that I am getting further into pregnancy I just really want to be at home! Work seems like such a drag and all I can think about is the baby!

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I only found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago and ever since I have work such a drag. All I can think about is maternity leave and I just can’t be bothered with work, which is weird as I generally like my job. I’m hoping it will pass as I don’t want to “pause” my career by being distracted and underperforming before I go on leave!

I know! All I can think about is maternity leave too, I know it’s not a holiday but I just really want to focus on being a Mum and creating a lovely home! It’s my first baby and feel like I’d like some time to prepare for baby’s arrival! Thinking about going on leave a month before my due date if I can afford to :-)

I get it! I'm 31 weeks with my first baby and due to start maternity leave in six weeks and am counting down the days! I'm considering taking a couple of weeks holiday beforehand as I have quite a bit of it accrued, but the financial aspect puts me off slightly (I don't get full pay for holiday).
