Ricotta on a pizza ok

I picked up a pizza on my way home as I do not have the energy to cook tonight. It's spinach and ricotta (and looks so good 🤤) but it doesn't state explicitly that the ricotta is pasteurised.

Any idea whether I can eat this? It'll be cooked for maybe 10 minutes.

Cheese is a minefield!

Thank you

Any cheese that will be cooked is fine

It’s fine uncooked. Just google nhs food pregnancy and all the info is there to check

I just meant even if it was blue or mould ripened or unpasteurised it would still be fine if cooked

www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/foods-to-avoid-pregnant/

NHS says ricotta should be pasteurised but this is irrelevant if it’s going to be cooked.

THANK YOU! I am eating the pizza - over cooked it a bit just in case - and it's wonderful.
