When did you start to feel movement with your second pregnancy, coming up to 18 weeks now and haven't felt anything. My last pregnancy was 6 years ago so can't remember how early it was then. Just worrying myself that I haven't felt anything yet.

I started to feel movement at 17 weeks with my second but it was extremely hard to be 100% sure it was actual baby movement until I was about 20 weeks. My first was 10 years ago so I truely had forgotten what it felt like! I wouldn't panic at 18 weeks if you haven't felt anything, it won't be long before you do ☺

14 weeks second time- I’ve had posterior placentas both times though so it was easier to feel movement anyway.

I felt what I think was probably baby moving before 20 weeks but nothing that I could say for definite. It was about 22 weeks for me till I could be absolutely sure it was him. My daughter was only 2 when I was pregnant but I couldn’t remember even then. I was really worried at my 20 week scan that something was wrong because I wasn’t really feeling anything but he’s absolutely fine.

I had very slight and occasional movements at 14 weeks. Became more regular and clearer as tome passed. Now 21 weeks and feeling stronger kicks.

I do think it varies from woman to woman so don't worry about not feeling anything yet.

I'm 18 weeks , I think I starting feeling something at 17 but it was that feeling where you think was it wind or baby ha ha, but just a week later I can definitely feel baby now, midwife tend to not worry, and say as long as you start to feel into 20 weeks it's fine, I wouldn't worry too much, you never know what you might think isn't movements might actually be Grinxxx

I'm 17 weeks almost with 3rd baby, anterior placenta and no movements yet :(

WoogleCone · 10/01/2019 00:18

I'm coming up on 21 weeks and only felt proper movements in the last week or so. The placenta is right across the front this time though.
Just tiny flutters before that.

whiteonesugar · 10/01/2019 09:38

I am 16 weeks today and felt some flutters and one yesterday that did feel like an actual kick. But with my DS i had an anterior placenta and felt nothing at all until much later, about 20 - 22 weeks. This time my placental is fundal so its at the top of my uterus, and i think that means i will feel stuff sooner.

Thanks for the replies, seems like i spoke too soon, I felt loads of movement today and I'm sure it's the baby so time to stop panicking!
