33 weeks pg here
Had a midwife appointment on Friday and my urine test showed infection and blood in my urine, so got a doctors appt that day and got antibiotics (Cefalexin / cephalexin)
My dosage is 500mg twice a day for 7 days
I’ve now taken 5 days of it and the uti symptoms still haven’t gone or even faded down. They usually do by day 2/3 max (obviously I know I still have to take the full amount)
Should I call the doctors about this or wait till Friday when I have to hand in my urine sample anyway

Call the doctors asap! So sorry, uti's are horrible.
I have been taking triple strength cranberry tablets for a few years now and they have really helped prevent me getting them. Hope you are better soon!

UTI’s are awful, I’ve had loads. I’d call the GP - I think sometimes they just need to try a different antibiotic? I know I always got trimethro whatever but then moved onto cefalexin which did work. Good luck and hope it goes away soon.

Make sure you lean forward slightly when finishing your wee. I heard that the pressure from baby doesn't always help flush the lines and this move might help.
