My DD is 23 weeks and she will be claiming MA. I know she can claim from 26 weeks but what if she wants to work until 32 weeks, does she leave her claim until 32 weeks or claim at 26 and start getting it at 32. Hope that makes sense.

I understand it to be the same as statutory maternity pay that you decide what date you want to start your maternity leave and they start you SMP/MA from that date, but the earliest you can start your pay is 26 weeks.

I would imagine she can claim from 26 weeks and can specify when she wants it to start from

The earliest you can start MA is 29 weeks bit you can claim it from 26 weeks

Yep claim from 26 weeks and the form asks when you want your MA payments to start so that can be any time up to the day after the baby is born.
