Pregnancy Hair is Amazing!!

I cannot believe the difference in my hair! It's bright and thick and looks like I've been to the salon. I also can get away with only washing it every 4-5 days whereas before it was every other day if not every day.

So not looking forward to when it all falls out when I give birth to my twins in April.

For now though I'll take it as a huge perk.

Anyone else feeling the love for their pregnancy hair at the moment?

I've not hit the nice stage yet. I'm still at the greasy stage.

Last pregnancy though my hair kept coming out more than usual during the pregnancy. Didn't lose any afterwards. But I've got naturally thick hair so it didn't really matter for me.

I had lovely nails though. I seem to have had the opposite of what usually happens.

My hair isn't great. I am terrified of it falling out after birth - it's already thin. My nails though are bloody brilliant and they've always been rubbish.

I miss my pregnancy hair, skin and nails SO MUCH!

6 months post-partum and it’s all gone to hell Sad

Enjoy, ladies! Throw those locks around like you’re in a l’oreal advert!

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and don't really have anything that I could call a pregnancy glow.

My hair is the exact same as always (kind of frizzy, kind of thin).
The only thing I've noticed a slight difference in is my nails are growing slightly quicker 😂.

Hope all you lucky ones enjoy your beautiful hair....I'm not jealous at all EnvyGrin

I'm 33 weeks and have never been blessed with the pregnancy hair! From about 10 weeks to 25 weeks, it came out in handfuls and I was so annoyed because I didn't think that was supposed to happen until after! Now I've got loads of baby hairs that look like a halo round my head! I'm praying I don't lose more when the baby gets here or I'll be bald!

Lucky you lol! I'm nearly 23 weeks. Hair is so much thinner and falling out, face is full of spots. Feel awful about myself defo not glowing! X

Mine was amazing and stayed great until a couple of weeks ago! Now 4 months post-birth and I’m going to have to go an get a haircut because it’s all falling out and getting really ratty ☹️

Melamine · 09/01/2019 13:41

Mines as crap as it’s always been. Maybe growing marginally faster (which just means more dyeing!) but I’ve not noticed any other difference

didihearthatright123456 · 09/01/2019 14:29

Mine is usually rubbish, frizzy and goes greasy really quickly. These past few weeks have seen such a difference, glossy, thick and not greasy anymore.

I know it can't last though so am planning on enjoying it as much as I can lol

skin wise, i'd say its a bit more blotchy but strangely make up seems to stay on a little better.

I'd like to think it's making up for the raging heartburn at night, the lack of sleep and waking up with cramp in my calf nearly every morning this week lol

Oh sounds like you have lush hair now, I am eagerly awaiting mine to become a big shiny mane!!

I am getting lots of nose spots, which reading into is all hormonal. I can't even get at them, they are all in funny corners!!

didihearthatright123456 · 09/01/2019 15:05

@Bigonesmallone3 I'm 22 weeks now but with twins so have the extra hormones crashing around my system lol

@Porridgeprincess I feel your pain on the spot front, however luckily (I think) mine aren't on my face but are on my back and recently a very very painful one in my ear ouch!!!
