Larger than normal blood cells? Anyone else have/had this?

Has anyone else had a round of blood tests come back with ‘larger than normal blood cells’??

I’ve just been called back to my doctors in for further tests, but they really didn’t go into too much detail over the phone as to what exactly that means! All I can correlate online is some form of anemia, but I’m just curious as what might be going on in there.

I was admitted to DAU on Sunday with reduced movement...little monkey obviously beat the crap out of me soon as the monitor was put on 🙈 now just a little worried she might not be happy in there.

Have you been drinking A LOT of water? That's all I can think of, unlikely as it is?

@physicskate no more than usual!! Around two bottles of water a day? Like normal carry bottles of water - probably less than I should in all honesty 😳

I tried calling the doc back but he'd left for the day...so annoying! All I can do is sit here and worry now.

Macrocytosis? Larger red cells than normal? Can be normal in pregnancy. They might want to check your b12 and folate.
