18 Weeks Scan - Is Sex Clear

Hi, I've just had a scan at 18 weeks at my hospital where the trust policy is not to tell the sex. I think I have a good idea from these images they gave me but wondered if anyone else could give me their thoughts while I convince my husband that we should have a private gender scan Smile

I would say boy but can't be 100% sure! That's strange that they wouldn't tell you...

Definitely a little boy I'd say! I'll post my DD potty shot as comparison. Little boys tend to be very obvious.

Looks like a boy to me too - I’ve been told I’m having a boy and that’s pretty much what his scan looked like! If you want confirmation keep an eye on groupon etc. They sometimes do good offers on private scans 😊

I would say boy. I was told I'm having a girl and there was nothing like that between her legs. Let us know the outcome if you do go for a private scan...they do them for £39 if you're close to an ultrasound direct clinic :)

It's as if baby is sitting on a sheet of glass and you take a pic from under neath..

I would also say boy..

Ohh I get it now, thanks Bigonesmallone3! I’d go with boy too in that case! Grin Do you think you’ll arrange a private scan to confirm the sex? You’ll have to let us know!

We had our gender scan today, this little baba is a girl! It's funny how many boy guesses there were on this thread as I asked on another site too and absolutely everyone thought girl there. We didn't mind at all and would have been as happy with a boy as a girl (would still love a little boy too some day) but it's nice to know for sure.
