18 Weeks Scan - Is Sex Clear

Hi, I've just had a scan at 18 weeks at my hospital where the trust policy is not to tell the sex. I think I have a good idea from these images they gave me but wondered if anyone else could give me their thoughts while I convince my husband that we should have a private gender scan

I would say boy but can't be 100% sure! That's strange that they wouldn't tell you...

Oh my, I'm surprised as I really thought I was looking at girly bits!

Definitely a little boy I'd say! I'll post my DD potty shot as comparison. Little boys tend to be very obvious.

Scanning is a dynamic thing - can’t tell from the pictures

Looks like a boy to me too - I’ve been told I’m having a boy and that’s pretty much what his scan looked like! If you want confirmation keep an eye on groupon etc. They sometimes do good offers on private scans 😊

I would say boy. I was told I'm having a girl and there was nothing like that between her legs. Let us know the outcome if you do go for a private scan...they do them for £39 if you're close to an ultrasound direct clinic :)

I can’t work out what any of those pictures are showing I’d be a terrible sonographer.

We had our gender scan today, this little baba is a girl! It's funny how many boy guesses there were on this thread as I asked on another site too and absolutely everyone thought girl there. We didn't mind at all and would have been as happy with a boy as a girl (would still love a little boy too some day) but it's nice to know for sure.
