I had a early scan at 6 weeks as had some pink spotting. Heartbeat was detected so felt a little relief although my last pregnancy ended in a missed mc at 12 weeks (Fetus was 8 weeks) so I'm sure if I'd had a scan at 6 weeks then it would have detected a HB.
The spotting continued for 2 weeks all over Xmas and NY, went into epu last week and diagnosed as threatened mc and the consultant was enough to make me feel like rubbish, just direct and quite dismissive.
I was called back for a scan this morning and have had light period type bleeding all weekend and there was no heartbeat. The nurse said the pregnancy had progressed though since my last scan 11 days ago so even though there is no hb at this stage they can't treat it as a mc and will scan me again next week.
Anyone had a similar experience? She's told me to prepare for the worst and I don't think anything will change but why do I need to wait a week? It's torture!
